*Listening passages with questions
One of the most commonly used ways of testing listening comprehension is to listen to dialogues or passages and to answer multiple choice or short answer questions. In order to make such test reliable.but firstly, they have able to listen to the language and recognised spoken words and sentences.secondly have to be able to write what they Hear with correct spelling. thirdly, have to be able to understand what they hear, at least at the phrase level.
*Dictation
Dictation tests can be used to measure listening ,but research has shown that they are better measures of general language proficiency than just of listening
